The areas under the protection of lightning rods are identified according to the “lightning risk calculation” carried out for the facility to be protected. As a result of the analysis, the radius of the lightning rod coverage is 79m in areas with risk level 1, which can increase up to 107m in an area with risk level 3. The structural characteristics of the building and the geographical location are of great importance for risk analysis.
