Grounding For Foundation ; Foundation grounding is one of the most effective earthing methods. Grounding should be started at just the beginning of the construction of buildings, in the foundation stage. It is made with galvanized conductor laid among the structural irons in the foundation. This conductor is connected to the structural irons in certain intervals. Again from several determined point, terminals are drawn out of the earthing conductor and left as connecting bars. After these terminals are connected to the equipotential earthing bars, all the systems to be earthened are connected to these bars for earthing.
Foundation grounding should be made as a closed ring and placed into the foundation of external walls of the building or in the foundation platform. In the buildings with big surrounding, grounding should be divided into meshes of 20x20 m. Connection shall be made to the structural irons at each several meters.
