GROUNDING SYSTEMS

The Importance of Grounding Systems

Residual currents that can occur in electric devices and systems pose a risk to human health. The likelihood of a living being getting injured or dying as a result of this electric current is very high. The main measure to be taken against such risk is installing a conductor in the grounding system that connects the electric systems and devices to the ground.

As a legal requirement in our country, grounding must be implemented by starting from the foundation and extending to the external lightning system on the roof in line with the standards. By connecting these groundings with each other (equipotential), voltage differences are prevented from occurring at any two points and accident risks are minimized. Internal lightning systems must be used in constructions with equipotential.
