EXOTHERMIC WELDING SYSTEMS

The Importance of Exothermic Welding Systems

Creating an uninterrupted and solid transmission line in conductors is a very serious concern in electrical connections. The main problems seen in grounding installations after many years are the corrosion, loosening, and disintegration that occur in underground conductor connections.

Underground conductor connections must be performed with exothermic welding as far as possible, especially in environments with corrosive effects (humidity, high or low temperatures) in order for the grounding installation to have a long life, and the grounding resistance not to change compared to the value at the beginning. Exothermic welding is the most reliable and economic way of establishing a high-quality electrical connection without the need for an external heat source.
